Pogi Challenge

Pogi Challenge is a unique 3-day cycling event in Slovenia that combines elite racing, a recreational challenge, and a family cycling festival in the hometown environment of Tadej Pogačar. It takes place between Komenda and the Krvavec climb, allowing participants to experience the same roads and atmosphere as the world of professional cycling. The event starts in Komenda with Friday’s Tadej Pogačar criterium, featuring top riders and a fast city circuit race. Saturday is dedicated to families and young cyclists through the Junior Pogi Challenge and a relaxed festival program. On Sunday, the main challenge “S Klanca v Klanc” takes place, where riders tackle the iconic climb towards Krvavec and test themselves on one of Slovenia’s most famous cycling ascents. Pogi Challenge also carries a charitable mission, supporting the Tadej Pogačar Foundation and youth cycling development, connecting sport, community, and the journey from a local climb to the world stage.
