Pogi Challenge
Pogi Challenge is a unique 3-day cycling event in Slovenia that combines elite racing, a recreational challenge, and a family cycling festival in the hometown environment of Tadej Pogačar. It takes place between Komenda and the Krvavec climb, allowing participants to experience the same roads and atmosphere as the world of professional cycling. The event starts in Komenda with Friday’s Tadej Pogačar criterium, featuring top riders and a fast city circuit race. Saturday is dedicated to families and young cyclists through the Junior Pogi Challenge and a relaxed festival program. On Sunday, the main challenge “S Klanca v Klanc” takes place, where riders tackle the iconic climb towards Krvavec and test themselves on one of Slovenia’s most famous cycling ascents. Pogi Challenge also carries a charitable mission, supporting the Tadej Pogačar Foundation and youth cycling development, connecting sport, community, and the journey from a local climb to the world stage.

Juriš na Vršič (Ride on Vršič)
Ride on Vršič is one of Slovenia's most iconic cycling events, drawing over a thousand riders to Kranjska Gora every year. The 13.5 km timed climb tackles the north side of Vršič Pass, with 801 metres of elevation gain, an average gradient of 7.25% and a maximum pitch of 10.8%. Finishing at 1,611 metres atop Slovenia's highest mountain pass, it is a bucket list climb for any cyclist visiting the Julian Alps.

Ljubljana MTB weekend
Ljubljana MTB Vikend is the biggest mountain bike festival in Slovenia's capital, now in its 6th edition. Spread across three days at Bike Park Ljubljana and Golovec Trails, the festival combines racing, riding, and entertainment for all levels. Highlights include a night pumptrack race, an FMB World Tour slopestyle contest, the Bikehanic Big Line Session big air show, an enduro race on Golovec Trails, bike demos and expo, and workshops for kids and adults. A must-attend event for anyone in the Slovenian MTB scene.
